Hello..!! Do you ever feel like this? You know those times where the FEAR kicks in and the pressure comes, and sometimes you just cant handle it. Maybe you freak out, get stressed, maybe even really angry at yourself or take it out on loved ones. I know for me in the past, this could definitely be the situation.. Sound familiar? I have a friend who is a retired New Jersey Cop for 13 years. It was crazy to hear the real stories of not only being a cop, but the incredible circumstances and danger that he went through on a daily basis. It makes you think. It makes you realise that your stresses and problems are nothing compared to running into a burning building to rescue someone. You risk your own life to saves someone else's. Is something you could do? A complete stranger? I don't know if I could, but I wanted to really jump inside the mind of someone who could. So, I brought my friend and client Phil Romano in to record a latest episode of Mindset By Design Podcast. It was a special episode and since Phil has retired, he has now open up a self-defense school for woman, he is writing a book and is also a badass at network Marketing. Money was bad? Rich people have done something wrong to get the money? They are different from us? I dont know about your family, but that is exactly the world I grew up in. It is so strange to look back and truly understand that the people who told you that, were simply people looking at the world through a certain filter around money, and that because they didn't have any, they thought that no one else could either! Crazy, really isn't it ha I have worked very hard over the years to really see the world differently, let go of all the old patterns that have held us back, were just from people who couldn't change their beliefs that they got taught as a kid. Isn't nice to know that they were wrong :) One of the people that I bring around me on this journey called life, is also the first person who recorded on the podcast. A dear friend of mine Hither Mann. An incredibly talented, successful, happy, healthy and very rich lady, who is also the top female forex trader in the world. Hither actually just came on the show for the 3rd time..! yes the only guest to have ever done that, and the only guest who keeps on evolving and growing so fast..! In this episode, it was amazing to see that no matter what is going on in her life, she always makes time to chat and connect and be very thoughtful about what drives her forwards each day. Andy Murphy Hey, Do you know what? It is my BIRTHDAY :) It is always a fascinating time of year. Do you remember your last birthday? Maybe you have one coming up soon?? How is it making you feel?? It some times for sure feels a little scary as we get older and start thinking about the end of your life, more than you do the middle, like you did when you were a kid..! You see how easy it is to start feeling SAD or STRESSED about where you are in your life right now. Maybe you thought you were supposed to be WAY FuRTHUR AHEAD than where you are right now? I choose to see things a DIFFERENT WAY, a way that might help you if you too..! I LOVE BIRTHDAYS..!! :) It gives me time to reflect and that means i can start to really take a look at where I am in my life, BUT the difference i do not judge. Why would I know inside that i am doing my best. There is always going to be someone RICHER, HAPPIER and FITTER that you. It does not matter how GOOD you are.. That is simply truth. So don't FOCUS on them, focus on YOU :) You see none of anything outside of you can control so instead focus on HAPPY MEMORIES..! It is that simple, I know i can make myself HAPPY, my changing my FOCUS to HAPPY things.. I could teach you a 1000 different ways to do that, (that is what the ACADEMY is for). Instead I look at BIRTHDAYS with an honest view point. This way i can see what i DONT WANT in my life anymore and BUILD MORE of what I do.. How COOL is that, if you can use birthdays as a way to GET RID of what does not SERVE YOU anymore..! See why I love birthdays, now ha BRAIN TRAINING **Take a note pad and pen** Step 1: Write down a memory of LETTING GO of something that does not serve you anymore in life. Step 2: Then imagine having the conversation, or cutting up a card, or whatever it is that you are going to let go of in your life. Imagine feeling so HAPPY that you are LETTING these things go..! :) You can do this technique I made for you with anything in your life..! Happy building your Mindset By Design. Hey..! Can I ask you something personal...? Did you grow up like this?? I was always told that life was hard. Money was difficult to get and people with it either got it by doing evil things or they were different. Does that sound something like you have heard before?? Crazy, to think that is what we were taught, that the rich get richer and easy come money is easily lost. These are ALL LIES, you have either told yourself or been told. The amazing thing about my life is that I have been SO LUCKY to have met incredible people all over the world, who inspire me, pick me up and teach me how to keep growing as a person and as an Entrepreneur... You see a different way to do life. So different from how we grew up. One of the biggest things I learnt recently was from someone I had just brought on the podcast, actually he was also on episode #70 as well as #116. His name is Mike Tecku and the AMAZING story is that only 4 years ago he was a BROKE and STRUGGLING musician. Honestly he only earning $25k per year (check out #70). This year his businesses combined will turn over 10 MILLION DOLLARS..! DO you want to know WHY this inspired me so much. It was not about the amount of money he was earning, it was about the TIME he had created for himself to enjoy his life. I am not going to tell you how many hours he is working per week, BUT IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND, I promise you..!! You are going to revaluate your whole business after this..!! Episode #116: The Untapped Gold Mine Of Be A World-class Spiritual Entrepreneur That Virtually No One Knows About For thousands of years there has been religion. There have been battles probably since the dawn of time around this concept. Peoples beliefs become so fixed that they are willing to kill and hurt other people in the name of a belief?? It is so strange to me, when especially when you begin to understand the POWER of the BRAIN and what a belief really is. IT IS NOT REAL..!! You might be reading this and are saying ANDY, you are wrong, beliefs are real, I feel them everyday and the effect my whole life. I believe i cant get over the past, I believe i cant get the life that I want and become RICH, HAPPY and FREE. Well, I am here to tell you still that BELIEFS are not REAL.! They are just something we hold true with the information we have at the time. Think about this. It is the same as anything in your life. You could be learning a sport and the way someone from the past has taught you how to play, ight be giving you the result you are getting right now. Then a WORLD CHAMPION comes along and tells you DONT DO THAT, do this, it is going to get you a MUCH BETTER result. SUDDENLY your old belief about how to play is SMASHED and a new belief appears...! Do you see how fast the way you look at the world can change in an instant?? So lets go back to my earlier point about Spirituality. Is spirituality the same as Religion? Is spirituality about "GOD"? What has being spiritual got to do with being an ENTREPRENEUR? To me everything, but there again I have a different BELIEF :) This topic is something I have been researching in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Bali, California and I have spoken to so many people about this over the years..! I wanted to share with you what I have learnt, what MY BELIEFS are and I know you are going to be not only SURPRISED, but YOU are going to be EXCITED, because this is probably going to CHANGE YOUR LIFE ...! The cool thing is I recorded a podcast around this, and wanted to share it with you, so you can see things from another angle, and maybe take on a NEW BELIEF..! You know me by now which means, you also know that I am going to show you SOMETHING VERY DIFFERENT from every body else..! I know you will love this LATEST episode, I would also love to hear your feedback as I might do a PART 2 to this one..! BRAIN TRAINING: Take a pen and paper, or a .doc and allow yourself a 5 mins to do this quick exercise. 1. When was the most powerful time that you can remember (even if it was Santa Claus) when you believed something so much and then you found out some NEW information and your world changed Instantly. (make this happy :) ) 2. When that belief changed how did the world change with you? 3. Who or what around you change and how did it effect your life in an AMAZING WAY? (maybe it was around a relationship) As you start to think about this, I want you get the AHA moment when you realised, holding on to any view of the world is crazy, as none of this life is real anyway...! Time to decide what you want and go and get it in 2016...!! LET's DO THIS..!!! THIS WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE, IF YOU LET IT... This is how we build PERFORMANCE at Mindset by Design. The 5 Key steps to greatness For The Busy EntrepreneurThere is so much science backed evidence in 2016 to show that being able to control your mindset is how Athletes do incredible feats of super human abilities, where MMA fighters are jumping off the fence that surrounds them to do a kick, or skate boarders jumping over the great wall of china, or child Prodigies owning HUGE BUSINESSES before they are 16 years old. The wold has changed, and everyday it keeps moving forward... So..how are you doing dealing with it? How are you coping the pace that life seems to be flying by you? What these incredible athletes and child prodigies have in common with you is that you are on a journey also, to perfect your Mindset By Design. Which means you can get control of your mind, therefore your emotions. Once you do that you are able to step into a peak version of yourself (A Peak State) and have the right beliefs, attitudes and are laser focused on what you want to are determined to go make it happen, no matter what it takes..... This is all anyone since the dawn of time has ever done to create anything, and this now is what you are going to do..! BRAIN TRAINING: On your best day, the day you can remember now you felt so proud, confident and determined about yourself. Maybe it was a time doing a sport, that you love, when you were about to go on and you looked around at where you were, and that feeling in your stomach changing from nervous to calm and that little voice said in your head said, THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING, LETS DO THIS..! Read it again and this time read it slower so you can feel the words.. Great, now whether you could or could not remember a time like that in your own became irrelevant. You began to feel what you focused and maybe you just drifted off into the image for a moment. If you did you just experienced Trance and that is something called FLOW STATE..! HAPPY NEW YEAR...! I want to let you into a SECRET... I hope you had an amazing time over christmas and the NYE.! Now we are here in 2016. All of those fears and stresses might have popped up again. Maybe you are feeling the old sabotage patterns playing again, that all to familiar feeling of overwhelm and lack of belief in yourself.. Sound familiar? You MUST understand, those feelings, those beliefs and mindset. Are not real, they are just old mind muscles that you have been pumping all your life. Is it hard to change? The simple answer is YES. Yes it is very hard. Also, I am glad it is. In this life we get what we deserve. That might sound like a harsh statement (I don't mean, illnesses or injuries) I mean results in your life and business.. Look at it like this. We all eat a bit to much over the holidays and then at the start of Jan, say to ourselves, that is it I am going to the gym and eat the right foods etc... Listen, You cant get 6 pack abs eating like you did over the holiday! RIGHT HERE and NOW.. it is time to ACCEPT where you are and DECIDE that you deserve a different life. It is that simple. Is it that easy? NO, of course not that is why you will WIN while you see everyone else around give up. The difference is that YOU will keep pushing. YOU will keep driving. YOU will keep believing and learning to FLOW to the next result. Where others will focus on what went wrong. Do you see the difference? So who you decide to be now, is the biggest thing that will CHANGE your life, health, money and happiness this year. BE who you know you truly are inside..! BRAIN CHALLENGE: What would the FUTURE version of YOU tell yourself to do this month that will lead to next month, that leads to the month after which leads to you having your MINDSET BY DESIGN and the life you truly deserve? WRITE down the beliefs, the emotion and the decision. Put it on a sticky note and put in somewhere you are going to see it everyday. This will help interrupt the old pattern and keep YOU FOCUSED on where you want to go :) Remember, give it everything you have as you will never get this day or year again..! Lets do this!!
